Prolog practice – Friday 25^th June

·        If the prolog obstacles are erected and completed before 17:00 on Friday 25^th June there will be a practice session available to test the obstacles on the prolog.

·        This is NOT a RACE, it is an opportunity to test your bike setup and test your prolog riding skills before the Saturday morning “Time trial qualification”.

·        It is voluntary practice session; you do not need to attend.

Please arrive and leave at the below times.

·       Pro Class & Trials class  :- 17:00 - 17:40

·       Expert Single         : - 17:40 - 18:00

·       Expert Team          : - 18:00 - 18:20

·       Hobby Single          : - 18:20 – 18:40

·       Hobby Team           : - 18:40 – 19:00

Prolog valuation

·        Results of the prolog determine the starting order for the first offroad day.

·        The winner in each class starts first, followed by the other competitors in order of results

·        Each competitor after the prolog class winning rider will have a time depending on result in Prolog added to offroad day 1 overall time

Prolog – time trial qualifications

·         Start in competitor race number order

·         Each competitor tackles the prolog time trial individually

·         2 qualification runs - the fastest run counts for the result and the starting order for the "Final(s) race(s)".

·         The fastest time at the time trial have priority to choose their starting position in the final(s) race.

·         The fastest 16 riders in each class will compete in the “Prolog Finals”.

·         Race competitors who will compete in the “prolog finals” will have their names posted on the official results notice board in the Ramada race HQ at approx.12.00

Races A = Competitors who placed 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 in Prolog time trial result

·         Decides 1^st to 8^th result

• Decides 1^st to 8^th from competitors who were 1, 2, 3, 4 in A&B Semi final

Rules & Regulations

·         If a competitor or team does not participate in the prolog, he/she will receive a 45 minute penalty added to the next days result.

·         If a participant or team does not finish the Prolog time trial he/she/they will receive a 10 minute penalty added to the next days result.

·         Jump starting – first time warning, second time disqualification.

·         The first three winning riders in each class must attend “prize giving celebrations” at the end of the Final prolog races. Failure to attend will result in a 150 euro fine and a last starting place in the day 1 offroad race.

·         The fastest team member result in the Expert and hobby teams is used in the results list for the winning order.
