"Homer´s freestyle up" A challenging climb and a great test of competitors enduro ability

Road description from Sibiu to Spectator Point
Drive south out of Sibiu direction Bucharest on road 7. After 18 Kilometers you arrive in Tălmaciu. In this village you turn RIGHT onto road 105G direction Sadu. After 6 kilometers you arrive in Sadu. In the centre you turn LEFT staying on the road 105G. Continue into the valley for about 4 kilometers. Along the river, on the right side you will see a large open grass area also a barbecue place. Park along the road or cross the river. Riders will go up the forest from the open grass area. 600 meters further up the valley riders will come down a steep hill(Spectator point 2). On the other side of the road you will find spectator point 3, just cross the road and walk for 600 meters up the forest road until you arrive at the ridge. Here the competitors go up.

“Gravity 0’’ = steep freestyle downhill in the middle of the forest, a good line helps.

‘’Rocky 5’’ = The section is so bad, like the movie rocky 5 it should never have been made.

"The Service point", all competitors arrive here for a compulsory 20 minute break. They need to eat, drink and make service on their motorbikes before heading back onto the track.

Drive south out of Sibiu direction Bucharest on road 7. After 18 Kilometers you arrive in Tălmaciu. In the village you turn left direction Turnu Roșu on road 105G, only after 100 Meters (just before the bridge), you have to turn right onto a gravel road, 200 meters down the gravel road you find the servicepoint.

Pro competitors face a long hard climb in the forest, there is no made trail, so they have to look and find the best line themselves.

Drive south out of Sibiu direction Bucharest on road 7. After 18 Kilometers you arrive in Tălmaciu. In the village you turn LEFT direction Turnu Roșu on road 105G, after 2 kilometers you turn RIGHT onto road 105N direction Turnu Roșu, drive through the village, follow directions for "Mănăstirea Turnu Roșu". After leaving the village you have to drive 2 kilometers up the valley, looks for signs on your left side.

"Hill climb" The final event finish line. This is the famous and feared hill climb just outside Sibiu and close to Gușterița. Before the big hill climb attempt there are several small hills that all competitors have to attempt before going all out and getting the bikes onto "full gas''/ full throttle to try to force the motorcycles up the last difficult climb of Red Bull Romaniacs 2012

Road description from Sibiu to Spectator Point
Drive onto the street from where the prolog took place, you should have the competitors paddock on your right side, drive straight on at the first roundabout and at the next roundabout you take the last exit (3rd exit) continuing on the road to Gușterița, look for Romaniacs direction signs then follow them.
