The extreme show of motorcycles within Sibiu’s Town Center

On "Bulevardul Coposu" in the very heart of  Sibiu’s Town Centre.

 The World famous enduro rallye presents the "Prolog" of Red Bull Romaniacs, where competitors have to prove their endurance, riding skills and experience in front of thousands of fans, television crews, internet watchers, journalists and media.

The stars of this sport stand out in this extreme race within Sibiu’s town center where artificial obstacles produce an amazing motorcycle show.

Unpredictable obstacles and famous contestants, amaze us with their abilities in extreme conditions, they keep the audience in a breathtaking trance throughout the entire race.

Andy Fazakas and MC Crazy Bike Sibiu, pleasantly surprise us every year with new design spectacular obstacles, extreme elements, and difficult obstacles for the competiors to race over.

In other words, the Prolog of the Red Bull Romaniacs is the sum of all the ideas, experiences and the philosophies of this competition – a difficult contest, where only the best competitors can win, but everyone has a challenge trying to win.

The best place to view and enjoy the spirit of the Red Bull Romaniacs is at the Epilog.

The offroad competition - Offroad days 1 to 4 – track for 2012

The four cross country stages take place:

Offroad day 1 - Thursday 14th June / Start & finish in Sibiu

Offroad day 2 - Friday 15th June / Start in Sibiu, finish in "Voineasa" 

 The length of the track varies for every class, meaning between 100km to 220km each day.

The main challenges of the course are the technical parts, which lead through wood areas, where competitors are challenged with natural terrain obstacles, they traverse over trees, rocks, mud, and climb and decent mountains.

Petrol fuel stops(tank stops) are placed over distances of approximately 70 km, where contestants refuel their motorcycles and have the opportunity to refresh themselves with Red Bull energy drink and water.

The track is marked with banners, signs and colored markings, but to guarantee the safety of  competitors, they have the official track of the contest loaded onto a GPS. The markings and GPS devices "aid navigation". (road books and other expensive navigation technical equipment are unnecessary). 

The GPS records the route of each competitor, we check each participants track taken, this gives us transparency and accurate results.

Every single Pro, expert single rider and team(s) are provided with a minitracker. The internet public can watch the progress of each rider in real time (live) on our website from anywhere in the world. 

There are specially designed spectator points for fans to witness the struggle of the competitors in the toughest hard enduro rallye in the world.

Information regarding the location of spectator points, as well as time when riders are expected will be published on this website and in the media.
