More and more riders are returning home on the road because they were late at the check points.
Letti, Bolts and Gutzeit are fighting Stonehenge
Last years winner Andreas Lettenbichler Paul Bolton and Jade Gutzeit are doing a brave job at Stonehenge. The enormous steep hill is absolutly unridable in this conditions. Helpers and spectators help to push and pull the three heroes bikes up.

Graham Jarvis wins today's stage
While so many riders are still struggling trying to reach even the servicepoint, Graham Jarvis finishes his workday. The Sherco-Rider reaches the finishline about 40 minutes ahead of Chris Birch.
Birchy reaching the Arena
Chris Birch came in at the Arena about 22 minutes behind Jarvis. Joe Fiegl told us that Birch acutally passed Jarvis at the third tank point because Jarvis seemed to have some problems with the electrics of his bike. More to come.
This is just meant to show you what live blogging at the RBR actually means in weather like this. My guide Dori from Iceland (!) was kind enouhg to take these pictures. Thanks, Dori! He says this is probably the smallest office in the world!
The enduring rain of the last days and today made the track wet and very slippery. First two Pro riders Graham Jarvis and Chris Birch reach the Servicepoint far behind schedule. Jarvis passed Birch on the track, both witness that the conditions are very exhausing, time and power consuming.
Some problems were caused by a barrier which let the waterlevel rise pretty quick at the river Sadu. The riders have to cross this river between CP2 and CP3. Only a small group of the first riders could pass it before the water was to high. It took some time until the barrier was closed again and the other riders were able to cross the river.
Jade Gutzeit, Letti and Taddy arrived about 1 hour behind leading Graham Jarvis had some navigation issues and chrashed both pretty hard also. Taddy has shoulder problems again, but he hopes that he can finish. Jade Gutzeit hopes that the track will be shortened that more riders have a chance to finish.
Riders at Servicepoint: Pro: Graham Jarvis, Chris Birch, Lionel Seydoux, Andreas Lettenbichler, Jade Gutzeit, Taddy Blazusiak
Jarvis passing the Arena
Graham Jarvis just reached the Arena about 15 minutes ago, Birchy not in sight yet. Up here in the mountains the Arena is covered in clouds, nothing to see really. especially the straps cannot be seen anywhere close. Jarvis shows once again that he's used to the wet conditions.
Birch is back in the game
Chris Birch arrives just few seconds after Jarvis Graham at the check point 6 and he's back fighting for the first position.
The heat is on
Riaan van Niekerk apparently struggles with his engine. Back at the Magura summit we supplied him with fresh water for his cooler. Now we're getting reports the man from South Africa has stopped with an engine failure. But this information is not confirmed yet.
Injured but not stopped
21 year old Lars Enöckl from Austria crashed on friday during training for the prologue. The youngest pro-rider of this year's Romaniacs didn't want to be stopped by his now broken nose. He's doing perfectly well today and says it's hard and it's fun riding here. We consider him around 17th position.
Zdenek Cyprian (200) and Martin Volny (201) of the Czech Republik are the first Team-Experts we see riding into the muddy section after approximately five hours of this hard and heavy day. And still a long way to go...
Here comes Taddy
After his navigation-mistake Taddy Blazusiak catches up. Behind Jade Gutzeit he passes Rescue Point 2 in 5th position. Together with german rider and last years winner Andreas Lettenbichler.
Jarvis is the first one at the Service Point
Jarvis Graham (ENG) got at 9:41 (GMT+3) at the Service Point and he's followed by Chris Birch (NZL) who is behind Jarvis with 13 minutes.
@ Rescue Point 2
Here is the entrance to a downhill through a really muddy ravine. Graham Jarvis is the first to enter this part, followed bei Chris Birch. Still in third position comes Lionel Seydoux.
Taddy Blazusiak (POL) took a wrong track between the offroad start to the first check point. He's back in the race and he arrived at the check point 3 at 9:05 (GMT+3) in the same time with Gerhard Forster and Andreas Lettenbichler.

7.04 -The first riders reach the first summit
Mount Magura is the top of the first uphill-section today. To reach this summit the riders hve to fight the "Devil Ribs" - a first real hard test with roots and rocks and - especially today - lots of mud. At about 1300 meters the riders reach the cross on the summit and have a brief chance to catch a breath. The first to seize this opportunity is Chris Birch, the winner of yesterday prologue.
The first expert class riders have just left the start! Good luck gentlemen, you won't forget this 2010 edition of the Red Bull Romanaics, that's for sure!
Gentlemen, start your engines
The trial class was the first to enter the track of day one at the seventh edition of the legendary Red Bull Romaniacs. On a very early, grey and rainy morning the four riders dived into the carpathian forrest about 13km outside of Sibiu. The rain will make it hard for everyone and we wish all riders a safe first day @ the hardest extrem enduro rallye on the face of this planet.
