Sibiu - November 21, 2018 - XVENTURE mastermind Martin Freinademetz announces the departure of Volker Jacob and the arrival of Carsten M. Steffen to take over Volker’s international media and marketing management position at the „World’s toughest Hard Enduro Rally“ Red Bull Romaniacs.
Volker Jacob decided to move on to new adventures after he had joined Red Bull Romaniacs in 2011 - which is effectively eight Romaniacs editions ago. Volker had eventually moved to Romania and was not only involved in media and marketing but he was also seen testing, cleaning and scouting trails. Volker was instrumental in leading the brand Red Bull Romaniacs to a superb international recognition and driving registrations from „pretty much sold out“ to „fully booked within hours". He has managed our external and some internal communications in two languages and developed a unique signature, clear messaging and always displayed a results driven approach at a constant quality on all channels. Volker has also been Martin’s counterpart for brainstorming in countless strategic decisions - of which we face a lot - and helped out in various occasions with a “sanity check” when ideas were about to get too wild.

To continue the growth and to add fresh ideas and energy, Martin was able to convince Carsten M. Steffen to support XVENTURE as the international media and marketing manager. Carsten lives in Munich, has already spent a couple of Red Bull Romaniacs editions as a Blogger providing LIve news from the Carpathian mountains, he did the media management at Red Bull Romaniacs twice before and is known to the media professionals as the guy who had been in charge of the media management of 7 Red Bull Sea to Sky editions. Carsten has been living in various countries, runs his own consulting company, speaks several languages and is a passionate sports photographer.

The entire Red Bull Romaniacs team is working hard on the next edition which will take place in and around Sibiu between July 30 - August 3, 2019. About Red Bull Romaniacs
The Red Bull Romaniacs Hard Enduro Rallye was created in 2004 by founder Martin Freinademetz. Over the past years it has become the world's toughest Hard Enduro Rallye and attracts competitors from about 50 countries each and every year.
The race is spread over five days - five days of pure hard enduro racing action: The event is kicked off with the legendary prologue - a time trial in downtown Subiu with thousands of enthusiastic fans and followed by four “Offroad Race Days”. The competitors are taken on some of the world's most beautiful Hard Enduro tracks in the region around Sibiu, Romania (Southern Carpathian Mountains) which they have to master using GPS devices. The breathtaking wilderness, incredible up- and downhill sections in a stunning landscape and the professional as well as experienced organization result in the toughest and at the same time most memorable experience for all participants.
