The Carpathian King, Graham Jarvis, proved one more time that age is not a problem when you put your heart out into racing. Starting 10 minutes after Pol Tarres, who opened the day for the Gold class competitors, Jarvis passed all the other competitors and started leading the race right before the second checkpoint of the day. He was the first to cross the finish line, with a total riding time of 4h13m24, a little over 1 minute faster than Wade Young and Mani Lettenbichler.
