Reality hit two time winner, Jonny Walker, after a day of training with his fellow competitors last week; he very sadly will not be able to compete at this years Vertical Madness despite his optimism only a week ago that he would. Less than 2 months since a crash resulted in elbow surgery Jonny has not healed enough to compete in a 5 day rallye and has to sit this year out. We wish Jonny a speedy and full recovery. Both physical and mental strength and stamina are critical ingredients in the 5 day event where competitors are dished up some gruelling conditions.
