In recent months, we have seen Jonny Walker, a two-time Red Bull Romaniacs winner, focusing more on indoor events. Still, while he was racing in the third round of the SuperEnduro World Championship, he confirmed to us that he is not giving up the outdoors.
And 2025 Red Bull Romaniacs will surely be a game changer for the British rider, who is part of Triumph Racing and competes with a 4-stroke bike. Ensuring podiums in SuperEnduro, Jonny Walker confirmed he will tackle the 22nd edition of the world's toughest hard enduro rallye on a 4-stroke.
Catching up with Diana while in Cluj this January, Jonny Walker mentioned:
"I enjoyed last year's event; I actually did. I was a bit gutted to be out when I hit my foot, but I broke a toe, and it was split down in the middle. If this wouldn't happen, I would keep racing for sure. I think I was in the top 5, and I was happy with how I was riding.
The biggest thing for me is the Prologue. When everyone is there, all the fans. As in the rest of the days, you are mostly alone and see the fans once every few hours. "
With a trial background, we understand why Jonny Walker enjoys the Prologue. He has won it three times and been on the podium eight times, a record he shares with Alfredo Gomez, another former trial rider.
