Sibiu, Romania. August 2026 – The Red Bull Romaniacs, "UNSTOPPABLE" Edition 23, delivered five unforgettable days of racing as competitors from 58 nations tackled Romania's spectacular Southern Carpathian Mountains.

The “UNSTOPPABLE” felt like more than a race - it marked the beginning of a new era for Red Bull Romaniacs. It felt different, there was an energy that everyone wanted to be a part of. The convergence and sheer scale of nine classes bringing Hard Enduro, Adventure Bike and eMoto riders together created a unique atmosphere. It was a phenomenal energy that was impossible to ignore.

The Standout highlights of the “UNSTOPPABLE” Edition 23 were:

• Mani Lettenbichler had a significant and historical SEVENTH win, matching the total number of victories of legendary Graham Jarvis. 
• Mani Lettenbichler won the victory with over a one hour lead (1h 3m 27s).
• Youngster James Moore claimed an impressive third-place finish on his Red Bull Romaniacs debut.
• Graham Jarvis (GBR) finishing in P20 was the first ever eMoto competitor in Gold Class aboard his Jarv-e electric motorcycle.
• Graham Jarvis claimed the second fastest time in the LEATT LIVEmaniacs Stage 2 on Offroad Day 2. 
• Sandra Gomez (ESP) finished a remarkable P5 in Silver Class.
• Santiago Freinademetz (AUT), son of the founder Martin Freinademetz, and track manager for many years, decided to compete in this edition and placed an amazing P10.
• Emanuel Gyenes (ROU) has competed in all twenty three editions of the Red Bull Romaniacs, he finished Bronze Class in P3.
• Female competitor Tjaša Fifer (SVN) had a commendable five days and placed in P4 in the Bronze Class.  
• Adventure Ultimate Class - all three podium competitors, Roman, Tarrés and Rudolf formerly competed in Gold Class. Roman and Rudolf decided to switch to the Adventure Bike category for the first time at the “UNSTOPPABLE” Edition 23. 
• Kevin Gallas (DEU) was the first Adventure Bike competitor to successfully reach the top of  the famous Sibiu Hillclimb this year.
• Six women finished in the Adventure Classes, two in Adventure Core, proving that their strength and determination know no limits on the big bikes. ADV Core: Amanda Elvin (SWE), Andrea Goga (ROU). Adv Lite: Cynthia Fontaine (CAN), Sorina Răduțǎ (ROU), Giana Velarde (PER), Ulrike Pleissner (DEU).
• An increased number of athletes with numerous titles already behind them lined up on the startline, some not for their first time; Sam Sunderland (GBR) two time Dakar champion; Ivan Cervantes (ESP), five times Enduro World Champion and Remy Gardner (AUS), World Superbike Championship rider, former MotoGP rider and Moto2 World Champion.
• Ivan Cervantes (ESP) showed true team spirit by sacrificing his own result to support Triumph teammate Jonny Walker (GBR) and his podium fight. Donating parts from his damaged bike, Cervantes helped rebuild Walker’s bike and get him back on track. Walker finished P6.
• CFMoto dominated the podium in all three Adventure Classes. With a total of 43 CFMOTO motorcycles entered the Adventure categories – 39 450MTs, two 800MT-Xs and two 1000MT-Xs, it represented the largest adventure bike presence. 
• A 300cc two-stroke is the absolute gold standard when it comes to Hard Enduro and there is little variation from this in the Enduro category whereas the Adventure category had a wide range of capacities, weights and power and was represented by a variety of manufacturers from CFMoto, BMW, KTM, Triumph, Yamaha, Kove, Honda, Suzuki, Aprilia and Ducati. 
• Two nights outside of Sibiu expanded the race further afield, stretching the boundaries into new territory and new technical terrain. The landscape introduced new challenges including the classic rock gardens that featured heavily in Offroad Day 2 and 3. 
• New Signature Sections: The “UNSTOPPABLE” Edition 23 introduced brutal new sections such as Last Chance, Mental Trap, Rocks 'n' Roll and Coal Face, Low Battery, Slap me Baby to name a few. 
• Offroad Day 1 finished at the iconic Petrila abandoned mine site, while Offroad Day 2 took riders through the derelict Lupeni Mine and its towering rusted structures. These unforgettable locations delivered some of the most unique tracks in Hard Enduro competition.
• This year’s Prolog and Sibiu Hillclimb Arena saw more options than previous years for both safer “chicken run” routes as well as faster, more technical lines, rewarding those willing to take risks. These were mostly in the form of large gap jumps both in the Prolog and the finish arena. 
• Superior live coverage, The “UNSTOPPABLE” daily live transmissions via LEATT LIVEmaniacs delivers race action to a worldwide audience. Red Bull Romaniacs has set a new standard in Hard Enduro, being the only race to bring real time live coverage from deep in the mountains to a global audience.
• Abundance of content - daily media coverage has blown up, the coverage of Red Bull Romaniacs dominates the world of Hard Enduro channels for extended time throughout and after the event. 
• Red Bull Romaniacs LIVEnews Content Creation Teams and competitor generated onboard camera content, social media channels and influencers provide vast coverage for all amateur classes, acknowledging that every class has its own heroes and stories throughout the field.
• Red Bull Romaniacs not only unites the Hard Enduro, Adventure Bike and eMoto community but it has also become a family affair, highlighted this year by:
• Brotherly love, Mitch and Ashton Brightmore (GBR) Gold P5 and P19; 
• Father and son team Jesús and Stanislas Zavala (MEX), Bronze Class P15 and P9; 
• Brother and sister Alfredo and Sandra Gomez (ESP), Gold P11 and Silver P5; 
• Husband and wife team, Brandon and Tarryn Youell (ZAF), Atom P25 and P26.

Gold Class once again delivered an extraordinary battle as defending champion Mani Lettenbichler (DEU, KTM) proved why he remains Hard Enduro's dominant force, extending his lead throughout the Offroad Days before claiming another Red Bull Romaniacs title at the Sibiu Hillclimb Arena.

Teo Kabakchiev (BGR, Sherco) relentlessly challenged throughout the week, but Lettenbichler began pulling away on Offroad Day 2. Despite setting the fastest time on Offroad Day 3, Kabakchiev couldn't close the gap, and mechanical issues shortly after the start of Offroad Day 4 widened it even more. He finished in P2 at Red Bull Romaniacs for the third time.

Former Junior World Champion James Moore (ZAF) built up momentum each day throughout his Red Bull Romaniacs debut, overcoming front fork mechanical issues to claim an outstanding P3 podium finish.

Michael Walkner (AUT) looked set for the podium after holding third throughout all four Offroad Days, but a crash at the Sibiu Hillclimb Arena dropped him down to P6 after being so close.

The Adventure category has well and truly arrived and continued to grow in strength, with Mario Roman (ESP, CFMOTO) and Pol Tarrés (ESP, Yamaha) leading an exciting close Adventure Ultimate battle with Dieter Rudolf (AUT) hot on their heels. Competitors across every Adventure class demonstrated the remarkable capabilities of modern adventure bikes. The category is attracting more manufacturers from across the industry and is only set for further growth.

The eMoto Hobby Class demonstrated that electric motorcycles have a place in Hard Enduro, with most competitors finishing and the top four battling closely throughout the race. As research and development continue to advance bike capabilities, the category will continue to grow, with legends like Graham Jarvis’ involvement inspiring more riders to embrace eMoto racing. 

The Hard Enduro World Rankings have shifted following Red Bull Romaniacs which is a Supreme-ranked event awarding the highest points available. Teo Kabakchiev climbs from fifth to second, Mitch Brightmore moves into third ahead of Canada's Trystan Hart, while Mani Lettenbichler extends his commanding lead at the top.

The world's toughest Hard Enduro Rallye returns to Sibiu, Romania, get ready to do it all again: Red Bull Romaniacs is back from 27–31 July 2027.

Beyond the racing, the “UNSTOPPABLE” Edition 23 once again showcased the unique spirit of Red Bull Romaniacs. Competitors from every class shared challenges and adventure, encouraging one another through the toughest sections, while Martin Freinademetz and his team, the volunteers, local communities and international partners worked together to deliver an event unlike anything else out there. 

Red Bull Romaniacs is not only the world's toughest Hard Enduro Rallye, but in 2026 it felt like it became something even bigger—a place where the entire Offroad motorcycle world wanted to be. The "UNSTOPPABLE" Edition 23 proved exactly why Red Bull Romaniacs remains the toughest Hard Enduro Rallye on the planet - continually evolving, continually innovating and continually challenging the world's best riders to go beyond what they thought was possible.
