Pick the right adventure class - Then Register to race
For 2027, we are introducing a new four-class structure for the Adventure category.
- Lite – remains at the same level as in previous years.
- Core – remains at the same level as in 2026.
- Wild – our new class, with the same level of difficulty as the 2026 Ultimate class.
- Ultimate – our new Pro class, designed for the toughest of the tough.

Adventure Lite
Flowing trails with no heavy sections, although you should expect single tracks and some 1st–2nd gear riding between the faster and more enjoyable sections.
The tracks will take you along forest roads deep into the valleys and, the next minute, bring you above the tree line, with spectacular views as you ride the high mountain dirt roads.
This is our easiest class, but it is still not easy. Come prepared and ready for the adventure of a lifetime.
The fastest riders can expect an average riding speed of around 50 km/h throughout the day.
Distance: 110-140km. each day
Adventure Core
A bit of everything, from flowing trails to enduro-style terrain.
Alongside the stunning mountain landscapes, you should expect single trails, steep climbs and descents, and more technical sections.
Good bike-handling skills are essential, as well as some experience riding your adventure bike on enduro-style trails and terrain.
The fastest riders can expect an average riding speed of around 40 km/h throughout the day.
Distance: 120-150km. each day
Adventure Wild
Pretty hard. The riding is more similar to enduro-style tracks, with some hard enduro sections to be expected.
Some experience from hard enduro events is definitely recommended. Between the steep climbs and descents, you will find technical single trails, rocks and roots, followed by faster trails high in the mountains with spectacular views.
The fastest riders can expect an average riding speed of around 35 km/h throughout the day.
Distance: 130-160km. each day
Adventure Ultimate:
Only a small number of riders will be able to handle this class.
Ultimate is for the toughest of the tough — riders who can confidently handle a large adventure bike in hard enduro terrain.
Previous experience in hard enduro events is a must, and riding your adventure bike in difficult terrain should feel natural to you.
Ultimate means ultimate. This class is intended for professional riders, factory teams and riders with a skill level well above the average adventure rider.
If you don't know, don't go.
Distance: 110-150km. each day
Picking the right class is very important in order for you to have the best experience.
Being super fit is not required for Lite and Core, but having off-road riding techniques & the ability to keep your motorbike upright & functional when it is wet & slippy or dry & grippy is essential to get you through all of the 4 Adventure rallye Offroad days.
Expect 4-9 hours of riding time each day depending on your level.
Adventure class are for motorcycles with a minimum of 2-cylinders.

Road book devices and road book experience is not required. Just follow the GPS line that is provided.
Each competitor will receive their class GPS track map for each Off road day as well as important coordinates uploaded onto their GPS.
All the Adventure race tracks are marked with banner tape, a GPS track map will be uploaded onto your GPS before each off road day.

Everyone competing MUST carry tools for making adjustments - screwdrivers, allen keys, spanners for tightening bolts and any specialist tools needed for their motorcycle.

For Adventure motorcycle there are 3 tyre / wheel combinations
1) Tubeless tires - ''tubless tyre repair kit'' and 'tyre sealer inflator canister's' or 'soda bottle cartridges devices' - needed to get 'tubless tyres' back onto the wheel rim edge.
2) Inner Tubes fitted inside the tyres. (Narrow enduro style rims with tyre lock are ok! BUT tubes not reliable with modern wide tubless rims with no tyre clamps)
Wheel removal tools , tyre changing levers, air inflation devices.MUST be carried.
3) Specialist "enduro wheels" have been fitted. - Either A or B or C
A} Nuetech Gen 2 system, if with added mousses - then no tyre removal tools carrying is essential
B) Specialist enduro style wheels that allow mousses to be fitted - then no tyre removal tools carrying is essential
C) if using tubes, carry a spare 19" inner tube, it can be used in the front(21'') or rear(17" or 18") wheel, this saves carrying 2 different sized inner tubes
NOTE: It is essential to carry WHEEL removal tools, a competitor may have to remove fence wire, jammed in pieces of wood, or to allow competitors to fix other mechanical issues related to brake pads, brake discs, chain, chain sprockets.
It is estimated the fastest Adventure race class competitor will finish in between 4-5 hours, the mid pack performers will take around 7 hours and the slowest competitors around 9 hours.
The latest track information is provided by the Track Director at the daily Romaniacs event briefings and via email to all official event participants.
Multi-cylinder internal combustion engine motorcycles (with a minimum of 2 cylinders) are allowed to race in the Romaniacs Adventure rallye race classes.
We ride our Romaniacs Adventure tracks with all kind of motorcycles from BMW GS1300cc to CFMOTO MTX 800cc & CFMOTO MT 450cc in order to make sure that all Adventure motorcycles types and sizes will have fun and suitable race tracks.
Be mentally prepared and most important put good off road style tyres on your motorcycle
Register to race in these race classes:
Atom race class - is suitable for single-cylinder Adventure motorcycle riders who want to experience Romaniacs enduro rallye tracks & some of the easier hard enduro tracks, but also want to get to the Offroad day 4 finish and be a proud 'Romaniacs event Finisher'
Iron race class - Is for more experienced single-cylinder Adventure motorcycle riders who are regularly riding off road on single off road tracks & up and down tough technical off road hill climbs that are tough hard enduro rallye challenges on Adventure motorbikes.
Advisory: Only ''world class star competitors'' should consider competing in the Red Bull Romaniacs Bronze or Silver race classes on Adventure motorcycles.
Other Rally style events are not directly comparable with the Red Bull Romaniacs adventure rallye classes. We are providing unique rallye varied terrain containing suitable Adventure rallye single style tracks.
What is similar is the multiple days of great motorcycle racing.
