Sibiu, Romania. 26 July 2026 – Competitors from fifty seven nations are now converging in Sibiu, bringing together one of the most diverse and international racing communities in the world of Hard Enduro and Adventure Bike competition. For some, this is an annual tradition while for others, it is a dream and their first taste of the legendary Red Bull Romaniacs challenge. With the start of the “UNSTOPPABLE” Edition 23 officially underway the race vibes are high.
The action officially gets underway on Monday, 27 July, with the Opening Ceremony, beginning with the spectacular Nations Parade. Competitors will ride through the historic centre of Sibiu, creating a unique opportunity to capture the colourful international flags carried by the hundreds of riders alongside the stunning architectural highlights of the host city. Competitors will pass through the city at 13:30 EEST.
Nations Parade - Opening Ceremony
The Nations Parade will make its way to Bulevardul Corneliu Coposu, where media, journalists and fellow competitors can witness the DEMOmaniacs – a spectacular preview of the in-city Prolog, with Gold Class riders taking to the course for a first taste of the obstacles and challenges that await them. The DEMOmaniacs session will begin at 13:50 EEST, providing an ideal opportunity for photography and filming. New for the “UNSTOPPABLE” edition is the Adventure Ultimate Class having the opportunity to ride the Prolog track after the Gold Class DEMOmaniacs. The Prolog course will not be modified for the big multi-cylinder motorcycles during DEMOmaniacs as it is during the Prolog Finals event.
Immediately following the DEMOmaniacs ride, the Riders Presentation will take place at the water fountain and adjacent to the ancient medieval wall. It will be hosted by Red Bull Romaniacs founder Martin Freinademetz, who will introduce and ask questions to some of the world’s top elite riders.
The fans will have their chance to get up close with some of the event's biggest superstars at the Meet & Greet which starts at 14:20 EEST and this public session will bring the Opening Ceremony to a close.
With the Opening Ceremony complete, attention turns to the much awaited Prolog on Tuesday, 28 July, thousands of spectators of all ages flock to what is for some, the highlight of their summer.

Wednesday 29 July - Saturday 1 August - Offroad Days
Start times vary each day and are announced the day prior. Each class will be covering up to and over 100km per day. Live Race progress follows competitors through their race day.
Each day features an Offroad start, a mandatory Service Point and an Offroad finish. During the race day there are many Spectator Points for visitors to view - select those reachable in the day, they can't all be accessed in a day.
New for the “UNSTOPPABLE” Edition 23 is the introduction of two overnight stays outside of Sibiu. Enduro competitors will finish and stay in the mountain setting of Straja, while the Adventure Bike competitors will stay in the heart of Petroșani.
The “UNSTOPPABLE” Edition 23 will come to a final climax at the Offroad Day 4 Sibiu Hillclimbs Arena where the notorious hillclimb and a series of technical vertical challenges will once again provide a spectacular showcase for thousands of spectators, concluding the final racing action with the Podium celebrations in a classic Romaniacs finish-line atmosphere.
