Why compete on an Adventure motorcycle at Red Bull Romaniacs?

The Carpathian mountains surrounding Sibiu, the HOME city of Red Bull Romaniacs offers some of the most spectacular and demanding adventure rally terrain on the planet. This is where adventure motorcyclists from all over the world come to test themselves, their machines, and their skills.

Being able to competing in these unique wild mountains are what draws adventure motorcycle enthusiasts to come to Romania.

This is not a normal long distance rallye, our tracks are between 120-180km on each offroad race day, taking you deep into the valleys and high above the Tree line where you will find some of the best views in the world. Red Bull Romaniacs is the world toughest hard enduro rallye and these are the hardest adventure trails you will find in any adventure bike race around the world.

We offer Three adventure rallye race classes.

Adventure Lite: Has more flowing trails with no heavy sections, all though you should expect single trails and some 1-2 gear riding in between the fast and enjoyable sections. Tracks will take you on forest roads deep into the valleys and next minute bring you up above the tree line for a view of a live time while riding the high mountains gravel roads.

Top of the field will be doing average speed of 50 km/h throughout the day. Some sections faster and some slower.

Adventure Core: (NEW for 2026) This race class, sits in between, with a bit of everything from flowing trails to enduro style terrain.

In between the stunning landscape on top of the mountains you should expect single trails, steep up and down hills.

It is essential that you do have good handling skills and some experience in riding your adventure bike on enduro trails.

Top of the field will be doing average speed of 40 km/h throughout the day. Some sections faster and some slower.

Adventure Ultimate: Not so easy, riding is more similar to enduro style tracks, with a few hard enduro sections. Some experience in hard enduro events is defiantly needed. In between the steep hill climbs and downhills you will find yourself riding on technical single trails, over rocks/roots and next minute on fast trails on top of the mountains with the best view in the world.  

Top of the field will be doing average speed of 35 km/h throughout the day. Some sections faster and some slower.


Being super fit is not required, having off-road riding techniques & the ability to keep your motorbike upright & functional when it is wet & slippy or dry & grippy is essential to get you through all of the 4 Adventure rallye Offroad days.

Picking the right class is very important in order for you to have the best experience.

Adventure class are for motorcycles with a minimum of 2-cylinders.
